Harefield has a new tea shop, Trampz Teaz , located in Gilbert O’Sullivan Park. Owner and proprietor Scott Chegg says “ Harefield has had a few new venues open up for afternoon teas recently, Black Jacks Mill, Plough Lane and the We Love Coffee garden but I spotted a gap in the market for the more discerning punter”.
“Here at Trampz Teaz we offer tea in a chipped enamel mug with a slug of scotch if required, a slice of Co op fruit cake, washed down by a nice can of Special Brew”.
Trampz Teaz are also planning to branch into bed and breakfast. Mr. Chegg tells us “Benches can be pre booked for when customers pass out, overnight guests will be served a delicious breakfast of a packet of crisps and a pint of Frosty Jack cider”.
“We’re already starting to get repeat bookings, old Harry the penny stamp has been here all week, in fact we can’t seem to wake him up. Still he must be alright or the flies wouldn’t be all over him”.
Reservations can be made on Air BnB for accommodation and benches can be booked through the Trampz Teaz app. Due to social distancing measures only one tramp per bench is allowed although at busy times guests can use the swings.
